Believe Digital signs Airtime Records

Airtime Records is proud to be signed by Europe's leading digital distributor for music downloads.

The complete album "Dubai Nights" is now available for downloading in 76 on-line music stores in 240 countries around the world. As part of the impending global release Believe Digital will use promotional press releases, photography and the BluRay Music Video "Skyline Shine" from Airtime Records. This Video can be viewed on YouTube.

Major stores for downloading include iTunes, Amazon.com, MusicLoad.de, MusicMe.com and many others.

Prestigious Music Award for Airtime Artist

Jürgen Spiegel wins "Echo 2010"

Bochum. Jürgen Spiegel, Airtime artist featured on "Dubai Nights, Volume One", has been awarded the coveted German music award "Echo 2010".

He and his band The Tingvall Trio won the prize in the category Best Jazz Band.

Spiegel is a leading music artist in Germany and often appearing as drummer at major music festivals around the world.

Airtime Artists featured at Dubai Jazz Festival

Dubai. Two Airtime Artists were flown in from Germany and featured at the International Dubai Jazz Festival.

Jürgen Spiegel ("Dubai Nights, Volume One") appeared with his award-winning jazz group Tingvall Trio and Nils Wülker ("Dubai Nights, Volume Two") with his own band (see picture).

Music Video Shoot in the Arab Desert

UAE. While Airtime management was in country for the Abu Dhabi Event Launch, along with Jürgen Spiegel, local musicians, dancers and the technical team, it decided to fly in two top professional television camera crews from Europe.

Jörn Schulz of Schulz TV and Martin Schneider-Hillen of AVM in Hamburg brought the latest high-definition camera equipment, camera cranes, steadicams, etc - and, of course, their talent, and travelled with us deep into the back deserts of the UAE in search of remote locations.

We filmed for several days in the dunes with local Bedouins and wild camels.

Airtime Records launches CD "Dubai Nights"

Exclusive V.I.P. Event at Seven-Stars Hotel

Abu Dhabi. On 3 December 2008 Airtime Dubai launched its first music CD, "Dubai Nights, Volume One" in the UAE. V.I.P. guests in Abu Dhabi were treated to the world premier of the album at the seven-stars Emirates Palace Hotel.

"Dubai Nights" was originally recorded with twelve virtuose Bedouin musicians in sound studios of the UAE. All artists performed extensive takes on traditional instruments such as Nai, Oud and Qanun.

The sessions were then edited into loops and samples and re-assembled into new compositions by leading western musicians. "Dubai Nights, Volume One" has been created by Hamburg musician Jürgen Spiegel.
